Happy International Women’s Day!
The theme this year is “Balance for Better”, a call to action to drive gender balance across the world. It is yet another clarion call towards achieving gender equality, a greater awareness of discrimination and a celebration of women’s achievements.
Fulfilling the right to equality is our best chance to meeting some of the pressing challenges of our time, it is integral to each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Only by ensuring the rights of women and girls across all the goals will we get to justice and inclusion, economies that work for all, and sustenance for our shared environment now and for future generations.
This is especially important to us at Hygeia HMO as our mission to provide access to affordable, quality healthcare is powered by our team which includes some of the most formidable talent in Nigeria. We can’t do this without them and that’s we this tribute is to all the women in our workforce.
